Follow this daily volume ramp. Jumping ahead or spiking volume is the #1 reason domains get blacklisted during warm-up.

Day 1-3 20 / day Send only to your most engaged contacts. Get replies if possible.

Day 4-7 50 / day Keep reply rates high. Avoid cold contacts. Run an Inboxer Sender Check to confirm no blacklists.

Day 8-14 100 / day Gradually broaden your list. Monitor bounce rates. Stay under 2%.

Day 15-21 250 / day Your domain is building reputation. Run inbox placement tests to verify delivery.

Day 22-30 500 / day Almost there. If open rates and reply rates are stable, you’re on track.

Day 30+ Full volume Scale to target volume. Continue monitoring blacklists weekly.

Warning signs to pause warm-up: Bounce rate > 3% · Spam complaints > 0.1% · Open rate dropping below 20% · Listed on any blocklist. If any of these happen, pause sending for 48 hours and investigate before continuing.

Warm-up Best Practices

Start with your most engaged contacts. Sending to people who open and click signals positive engagement to mailbox providers.

Increase volume gradually. Sudden spikes in volume are a red flag. Follow the schedule above or adjust based on your domain age.

Monitor bounces and complaints. Keep bounce rates under 2% and spam complaints under 0.1%. Pause and clean your list if you exceed these.

Be consistent. Send every day during warm-up. Gaps in sending can reset your reputation progress with some providers.
